Proseguono (con molta ... calma, dati gli impegni sia di lavoro che "artistici" di tutti i membri), le prove della reunion della band. L'idea è sempre quella di organizzare una o più serate commemorative della storia e della musica della band, possibilmente coinvolgendo il maggior numero possibile sia di musicisti ed amici dell'ambiente, sia di pubblico ("fans"?!).
E' leggermente cambiata la line-up, rispetto ai primi tempi della reunion... Alla batteria non c'è più l'amico Walter Rivolta, dati i suoi numerosi impegni di musicista e di insegnante, e diamo il benvenuto a bordo ad un altro amico, Edo Sala (già nella prog-power band lecchese Madryghal e nella thrash-death band Stillbirth, ora insegnante di batteria e musicista in una cover-band).

Rehearsals for the band's reunion keep going on (very slowly indeed, due to the many commitments of all band members...). There's still a plan to do one or a few celebration gigs for band's history and music, possibly involving the more musicians and friends possible from the local music scene, and public ("fans").
Line-up has changed a little, since 2005 reunion. On drums there is no more our frined Walter Rivolta, due to his many activities both as a player and as a teacher, and we welcome aboard to another friend of ours, Edo Sala (previously with prog-power band Madryghal and thrash-death band Stillbirth, both from Lecco, now drums-teacher and musician in a local cover band).
AAARRGGHH !!! Siamo stati inseriti in una restrospettiva sulle metal bands italiane fatta dalla fanzine professionale giapponese Heavy Metal Forces (vedi QUI), insieme ad altre grandi bands italiane - alcune note, altre meno. Siamo onorati della cosa, anche se adesso ci vorrebbe un traduttore dal giapponese....
AAARRGGHH !!! We have been featured in a retrospective about italian metal bands published on a japanese pro fanzine (look HERE), together with other great italian bands, some well known, some other not. We are proud of it, but now give us a japanese transaltor......
E' appena uscito il libro "Italian Metal Legion - The Days Of Dream", praticamente una dettagliatissima enciclopedia su tutto ciò che è stato heavy metal in Italia negli anni '80 e primi '90, imperdibile per ogni appassionato dell'hard'n'heavy tricolore. Quindi, vi troviamo centinaia di bands italiane, ma anche festivals, fanzines, compilations, ecc. L'autore è Gianni Della Cioppa (già giornalista di Metal Shock e molte altre pubblicazioni). Gli AXTON sono inseriti in tale libro con una loro pagina.

Axton have been featured in the book "Italian Metal Legion - The Days Of Dream", which has just released in Italy, written by Gianni Della Cioppa (former writer for "Metal Shock" magazine and many other mags). It's an exhaustive and complete encyclopedia about the italian metal scene in the 80's and early 90's, with hundreds of bands, but also fanzines, festivals, demos, compilations, etc. AXTON have their own page there.
